"Rooms to Read" A Grand Chapter & Provincial Initiative of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc

Envisions a world in which all children can pursue a quality education that prepares them to be fulfilled and make positive change – in their families, communities and the world. Founded in 2000 on the belief that World Change Starts with Educated Children

"THE" Brentwood Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc seeks to continue the effort of working with elementary schools in Davidson County (Nashville) through the Room to Read Literacy Program! The chapter visited Tom Joy Elementary School (MNPS) and was greeted with a warm reception from Jazzmin Mitchell CIS Program Manager & Aleathea Harris - Little educators at Tom Joy!

The chapter was able to visit 12 classrooms from Pre-K, K, 1st & 2nd Grades and read to over 240 students and it was awesome experience for the chapter, the students, and the school staff!

Room to Read is a worthwhile program it allows you to see the joy in the eyes of young minds and its an experience you can never forget! Kudo's Brentwood Alumni Chapter - Bro Marcus Frank Hampton, Polemarch!
