The YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee held its 14th annual Wine Women & Shoes - 2026, presented by Regions, on Saturday, March 21, at the Music City Center. More than 650 of Nashville’s most fashionable and philanthropic women gathered in support of Tennessee’s largest provider of domestic violence services!

“Our work addressing domestic violence is more important now than ever,” said Sharon K. Roberson, president and CEO of YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee. “Wine Women & Shoes brings together women from across our community to uplift survivors, support families fleeing abuse, and ensure life saving services are there when they are needed most.”

Guests enjoyed an afternoon of tasting experiences featuring a curated selection of wines, spirits, and mocktails, along with signature event favorites including the Best in Shoe contest and the ever-popular Key to the Closet, offering exclusive dining, spa, and luxury experiences valued at more than $5,000. The event featured a vibrant shopping marketplace showcasing clothing, jewelry, well as an exciting lineup of live auction packages. Last year raising over $750K. This year raising over $900,000!

The 2026 event is co-chaired by Roxianne Bethune, Laurie Miller, and Meredith Risner, community leaders and longtime supporters of YWCA’s mission. Beloved Nashville 7 time Emmy Award winning media personality Vicki Yates served as host!

The evening also featured the phenomenal classy, debonaire, dressed to impress men of THE "Award Winning" Brentwood Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc (South Central Province).

This a community service/outreach event has been supported by the alumni chapter for the last 3 years! The Nupes, as they are affectionately called, led by Brother Marcus Hampton - Chapter Polemarch are committed to serving the needs of organizations such as the YMCA and the community-at-large!

Brother Hampton says, 'Nashville is an amazing city full of life, opportunity and those a little less fortunate who need a helping hand and someone to care, and that's the call of this chapter of men who give back to this community!"

The Men of Brentwood helped with their customary enthusiasm on the auction floor as the auctioneer called out "going once, going twice, sold." The Brentwood Nupes kept the energy charged, and the atmosphere electric! They walked the fashion run way modeling designer foot wear and socks helping to raise money and then give away $10,000 cash! Watch out for pink shoe wearing Brother Ken Woodard!

All proceeds benefit YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee’s comprehensive domestic violence services, including the Weaver Domestic Violence Center, Last year alone, YWCA answered more than 5,000 crisis calls and provided nearly 11,500 nights of safety to women, children and their pets seeking refuge at the Weaver Center.
