100 Black Men Man of the Year!

Brother Burley Nelson (BAC) was honored for the second consecutive year by the 100 Black Men of Middle Tennessee. He received the 2025 Distinguished Member of the Year award in recognition of his steadfast commitment to mentorship, leadership development, and lasting community impact.

The organization’s mission, to improve the quality of life for African Americans, particularly young Black men, through mentoring, education, health and wellness, and economic empowerment aligns seamlessly with Brother Nelson’s dedication to equity and opportunity.

His work spans both local and national platforms, where he continues to mentor students and lead impactful career readiness programs that strengthen their leadership, employability, and resilience.

This prestigious award underscores Brother Nelson's tireless advocacy and unwavering focus on developing the next generation of leaders.

Brother Burley an initiate of the Zeta Kappa (ZK Mob) chapter is the newly elected Vice Polemarch of "THE" Brentwood Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. It is the chapter's honor to recognize an esteemed member of the Bond!
