Welcome to Meet "THE" Brentwood Nupes, where we highlight the distinguished brothers of the Brentwood Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. This section showcases influential members who exemplify leadership, achievement, and a commitment to service. From business leaders to community advocates, these brothers continue to uphold the fraternity’s legacy while making a lasting impact. Brother Ken "Stylish Adventurer" Woodard

Introducing the one & only "Stylish Adenturer" Brother Ken Woodard the quintessential, classy nupe that sports the "Krimson & Kream". 


Brother Woodard 'K Dub" attended Middle Tennesee State University (MTSU) in the wonderful city of Murfreesboro TN.  This prestigious acadenic institution of higher education, conferred upon Brother Woodard the Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance w/emphasis on Financial Institutions Management.


His current career field is that of being Finance Manager for the "good hands people" Allstate Insurance Company.


Ken was initiated into the Eta Gamma of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. in the Spr 1987. He was the rock of his line called "The Syndicate" where he held down the "3" klub spot. In Kappa Land he is known as 'Killer K"


He supports the Brentwood Alumni Chapter faithfully having served as the Vice Polemarch of the chapter, Chairman of the MasKerade event, serves on the chapter''s AIM-TN foundation board. Additionally, he works hand in hand volunteering on several fronts with the YWCA organization (Wine Women & Shoes, The Amend Domestic Violence Initiative, The Women's Shelter just to name a few!).


Ken's fav hobby is music and enjoys playing the bass guitar! He sits in sessions playing with gospel groups and is on the music ministry team at his church!


His "fav" sports teams are the Pittsburgh Steelers in football and the Detroit Pistons in basketball.


A spiritual brother deeply rooted in the word of God and his faith, Brother Woodard offers this word of faith and encouragement, "You cannot lose in life with God at the center of it!".


The motto he lives by is "Love is the way to Victory!"


Put your hands together and show your love for the dapper, fashion ofcionado, the "G" who put the "G" in GQ, Eta Gamma's & the award winning Brentwood Alumni Chapter's own "Stylish Adventurer! Yo! Yo!








Brother Rameses "Red Alert" Cox-Bey Sr.

Brother Rameses Cox-Bey Sr. matriculated at Tuskegee (T! UUUUU!) University earning a degree in Aerospace Engineering, then on to Columbia Business School earning his MBA degree!


Brother RCB Sr., while at Tuskegee was initiated into the Gamma Epsilon of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. in the Fall of 1988. The Chapter is also known as "The Lighthouse Chapter"!  He is the 10 klub (tail dog) on the line known as Kappa Ship Diamond Knights of Destiny.  Rameses' line name is RedAlert!!!


Brother Cox-Bey serves as the new Director of the Brentwood Alumni Chapter's Guide Right/Kappa League mentor program at McGavock Senior High School the largest high school in the entire state of Tennessee with Nashville being the state capitol. The program serves young men 12 - 18 yrs old with the motto "Training for Leadership!"


This good brother's current career field is spending his time stock trading/investing and providing musical soundscapes as a multi-talented DJ, who rocks the house with a solid repretoire of musical genre's from Miami's trap music, Chicago style house - contemporary jazz, RnB, Rock u name it Rameses can play it! He does this while on sabbatical. You can catch this house rocking DJ playing at a venue near you!


Brother Cox-Bey's hobbies include - listening to and collecting music, reading, spending time with family, and biking!


Ram's favorite sports teams are: the Tuskegee University Golden Tigers (HBCU with the most wins), the Chicago Bulls and Bears (they better not move to Indy!), He also like the 49ers, Seahawks, Titans, and Lakers. ***Note he says. "that I will always root for my home teams but I love great competition. I follow boxing as well."


Ram's, life advice to someone looking to get ahead in life is

- "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not to thine understanding". "Believe that the Grand Architect and Creator has good plans for you. You may not understand the process, the steps, or events that take place but trust in God".


Here is this brother's tagline/motto he lives by "Faith, Focus, Fortitude, and Follow Through - those are words I live by and strive by"



Brother Kenneth "Headknocker" McMichael Sr.

Brother Kenneth McMichael, Sr. attended the historic HBCU Alabama A&M University in Huntsville AL. This truly amazing brother earned a B.A. degree in Marketing after matriculating within those hallowed halls of higher academia!


Kenny Mac was initiated into the Gamma Phi of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. 2/17/83. His line is known as the "Transitional 26", he is #21 aka the "Severe" Nupe!


After crossing the burning sands into 'Kappa Land", Brother McMichael has worked and served this great and grand fraternity untiringly! He was an original charter member of the 1st 48 when Brentwood Alumni Chapter was chartered - 10/2/10. 


Brother McMichael is a Life Member of the fraternity at the Grand Chapter and Provinicial Levels! Here are a few snippets of this Brother's Achievements and fraternal contributions.  Kenny Mac served as chapter strategus from 2010 - 2015; chapter Keeper of Exchequer 2015 - 2019; Chairman of Budget & Finance for the SCP 2016 - 2020; and South Central Province Keeper of Exchequer 2020 - 2025.


He has been a strong community advocate and suppporter! He served as the Chairmen of the Middle Tennessee Health Fair 2012 - 2019. Among Brother McMichael's community interest and involvement are: Commissioner of Public Works Division District #28; Board member Nashville Neighborhood Resource Center; Vice President Nashville Solid Waste Regional Bd.


This Nupe's hobbies include - keeping sound investment strategies, golfing, cooking, and refereeing high school and youth football games. 

His fav sports teams are the Detroit Lions, Tigers, Red Wings and the Pittsburg Steelers!


The fun side of this brother! Kenny Mac has a love for bread! White Bread, Wheat Bread, that brown Cheesecake Factory bread, monkey bread, hot water corn bread! A meal ain't a meal without bread! Lol


Brother McMichael's life advice is "keep the 1st things 1st" Strengthening your relationship with the Lord God Almighty and surrounding yourself with family and friends that you ride or die with!


Lastly, Nupe's ilfe motto is "for I am my brother's keeper.......
